Compile Development Objects

When you compile development objects, Uniface checks the definition, syntax, and integrity of the object, generates descriptors, and stores the compiled object, either on the file system or in the Repository.

  • To compile and build all objects in a Project, click the Compile command in the Project Editor.
  • To compile a Main Development Object and all its children, choose Compile in the current editor.

The Compiler Output tab displays compilation messages.

The Compiled Module Navigator displays a list of the compiled ProcScript Modules that indicates whether they are local or inherited.

The generated runtime objects are stored as resource files in object-specific subdirectories of the user data directory.
